Asbestos removal is priced on the specifics of the job, not a flat rate. Projects that exceed NESHAP threshold quantities, generally 160 square feet, 260 linear feet, or 35 cubic feet of asbestos-containing material, also require regulatory notification, which can affect scheduling. Finally, asbestos waste is a regulated hazardous material. It must be double-bagged, labeled, transported by a licensed hauler, and disposed of at a permitted facility, with documentation kept as part of the project record. Testing and Clearance Costs
